Former Nashoba art teacher turns barn space into Taylor & Rae Studio

PRINCETON – Joya Mutti has moved from training at a neighborhood high school to building a studio in her home that is “a place for men and women to come with each other, connect and explore their imaginative side by home decor, fine art and furniture tasks.”

The rustic studio space in the barn natural environment is household to artwork and courses to allow some others to make and an extension of art teaching she experienced completed beforehand.

At Nashoba Regional Significant University in Bolton, Mutti taught grades 9 to 12 in drawing, painting, combined media, ceramics/pottery, printmaking and silk screening.

“I definitely liked getting a teacher,” Mutti reported.

She has also labored on other artwork-similar jobs which includes serving to design a barn function house for Trinity Church in Bolton

“There are so many artistic initiatives out there,” Mutti mentioned. “I educate workshops and weekend mini courses in the studio, as very well as get the job done on my have paintings. I am also enthusiastic to organize seasonal reveals to assist and celebrate nearby artists and makers.
